Dr. Josephine “Joy” Kim, DMD

Primary Dentist

Dr. Joy was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating from University of Louisville School of Dentistry, she served patients with diverse medical needs at the General Practice Residency of Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. Dr. Joy joined The Smile Center team the summer of 2024. She seeks to provide informed, excellent care for her patients.

When she is not in the office, Dr. Joy enjoys spending time with her biological and church families, learning to play the piano and preparing simple recipes while listening to a good podcast.

Dr. Su T Kang, DMD

Primary Dentist

Dr. Su Kang was born in South Korea and raised in Greensburg, Indiana. He attended Indiana University and completed his postdoctoral dental program in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also served in active duty military and finished his military career as Colonel in the Dental Corp.

Dr. Kang is married to Jina Kim. Together they raised 3 beautiful children, Sujin, Sungmin and Sungjae.

Dr. Kang has been in dentistry since 1989 and continues to serve the community and other medical missions throughout South America.
